MUD CITY

THE GAME

In this game, you and your friends will take on the roles of gangsters in Mud City, fighting for power and influence in the city's seedy underbelly. You'll navigate the complex social and political landscape of the city, making alliances and enemies as you rise through the ranks of your gang.

Combat in this game is focused on brawling and hand-to-hand combat. You'll engage in intense fights with rival gang members, using your fists, improvised weapons, and martial arts skills to come out on top. You'll also have the opportunity to use guns and other ranged weapons, but they are less reliable and effective than your fists.

EDITORIAL

Mud City has been a year-long passion project for me. Starting with DURF as the base rule, I soon realized that to truly capture the essence of the brawler movies that inspired it, significant modifications were necessary. Thus, the combo system was born. I've engaged in playtesting sessions with a few close friends, and their valuable feedback has shed light on areas in need of improvement. While I find myself satisfied with Mud City's current state, I remain fully aware of the work that lies ahead. This project is very much a work in progress, I will update it more and might write a full campaign. Thanks, you all!
